Page 1 of 3 One of the biggest challenges that producers face is the marketing of their animals. Some producers just don’t know where to begin, and others have tried but haven’t seen the success they anticipated from it.
The best form of advertising is having your bulls competing in PBR events, especially at the PBR World Finals. Considering there are over 100 million viewers of the PBR, the exposure you receive is enormous. Fans have increasingly grown to love the bovine athletes and follow them almost as closely as the riders themselves. Some of these fans have even decided to enter the bucking bull business and if they have seen your bulls competing on TV, they may turn to you to purchase cattle to begin their breeding programs. However, what do you do if you have not yet entered this elite circle of producers who have bulls regularly competing at these events? Well, there are a variety of ways to gain exposure in this business. The most important thing is just to get out there and be seen. Go to events, sales and futurities. Get to know the other producers out there and let them see your bulls competing. You might think that it is easier said than done, but the truth is you have to be involved in the industry if you want to be recognized. |
