When the 4C's won their first PBR Bull Challenge event in Anaheim, Calif. Gilbert Carrillo was pleased but not surprised. “We have a good team and I have such great partners. We all worked hard to make this happen and I think we can do it again,” said Carrillo back in February. In April, the former PBR bull rider proved he knew what he was talking about when 4C's captured another $20,000 in Nampa.

Jersey Joe, Little Bo, Devils' Night, Carrillo Cartel and All In earned a combined score of 222.25, a quarter point in front of both Moreno/ExclusiveGenetics.com and The Vikings. The teams, who split second with 222 apiece, each earned $7,500. Both teams have another second-place finish to their credit this season as well.

Moreno/ExclusiveGenetics.com's Charlie Bullware earned a big 46.25, while Big Mike earned an impressive 45.5. For the other reserve champs, it was Scaredy Cat and Walk the Line, each with a 45, that helped secure the Vikings victory.

The field, and scores, for the top teams were extremely close in Idaho. South Point was 221.75 for fourth; Northern Exposure was 220.25 for fifth. In sixth was Mandan Mafia with 219.75 and Pinz Way Out West had 218 for seventh.

Past ABBI champ God's Gift kept giving to the Kishes, earning a 45.25 for the South Point team. Fine Wine gave the team a 45.5. Far North, with a 45, was Northern Exposure's star. For Mandan Mafia, it was Frank the Tank with a 45.25. Matching Frank's score was Fire Bird for Pinz Way Out West.

With 10 teams at the event, it was extremely competitive. In eighth was Diamond “G” with 212.5. In ninth, due in part to a re-ride for Rodeo Suntan, was Priest Creek Ranch. In tenth, also with a re-ride, was West Coast Cowboys.

White Magic earned a 46 for Diamond “G” and continues to be one of the hottest short round bulls on tour. Blue Boy gave Priest Creek Ranch their highest mark with a 45.5 and West Coast Cowboys had two 43s with Hombre and Hurricane.
