The N.I.L.E. Invitational has been a stop on the PBR's premier series since the organization started. It is a favorite event among the cowboys, and now it is the Red Horns’ top stop as well.

Bells Blue from McCoy Ranches, Bad Medicine from Berger, Holy Moly from Page, and Spit Fire and Marcus from C&G all turned in strong performances to take Red Horns to their first PBR Bull Team Challenge victory.

“Red Horns is neat in that it is a mix of bulls from a lot of contractors,” said H.D. Page. “I'm pleased how well it all came together and that we were able to get a win.” Red Horns’ pen racked up 220 points for $20,000, beating out seven other teams. With a 45.5, Spit Fire was their high-scorer.

Just a quarter-point behind were The Vikings, who earned $10,000. Scaredy Cat and Walk the Line, both with a 44.5 were The Vikings’ highest scorers.

Diamond “G” earned 218.25 and finished third, followed by Mandan Mafia with 217.5 points. Babes Fireball stood out for Diamond “G” with a 45.25 while Mandan Mafia's Team Equine's Evil Forces earned a 45.

Lone Star Bulls Voodoo Child was the high-marked bull of the event with an incredible 47.25. Unfortunately team member Hot Stuff got a re-ride and earned just 29.5—an uncharacteristic trip that took the team out of a money spot and landed them in sixth. Another bull with an “off” day was War Zone, who got a 38 and a re-ride — which dropped Northern Exposure out of what could have been a strong finish with their other bulls scoring between 43.75 and 44.5. Their total of 214.5 was enough for fifth.

In seventh was Pinz Way Out West with 173. Their Fire Bird soared to a 45 but it wasn't enough to make up for a re-ride earned by McNasty. In eighth, due to the fact that they just had three bulls bucking, was Priest Creek Ranch. Mr. Deeds, Almost Famous and Blue Boy did their best but 128.25 was all the points priest Creek would take home from Montana.
